Minutes of the Meeting of SFA Mumbai Chapter held at IIT Powai on 2nd November 2014

A Luncheon Meeting of the Members affiliated to the Mumbai Chapter of the Society for Failure Analysis was held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Gulmohar Garden Restaurant, Near Canara Bank, IIT Powai during 11 to 1pm to transact the business as per agenda circulated earlier. The list of members who attended the meeting is attached.

The following decisions were taking:

The Members appreciated the idea of Joint Theme Symposium during NMD-ATM and decided to mobilise support for the same.
The following Office Bearers were elected unanimously.
Members thanked the management of PIIT Panvel and Subodh Technologist for providing office space and facilities to conduct the programmes at Rasayani/Panvel and at Rabale respectively.

Activities of the Chapter

The members decided to have website and start news letter of the Mumbai Chapter for networking with industries, educational institutes and research establishments. It was also planned to hold programmes at Nashik, Pune, Vadodara and at different locations in Mumbai i.e. Rabale, Panvel and Rasayani in association with local industries. It was also decided to get a resolution of the head office for opening an account in the State Bank of India at Powai branch to run the yearly activities that can be operated by any two of the four (President/VP/Secretary/ Treasurer).
